Forest crochet mushroom

PIt is common knowledge that i love the forest.

I simply adore all the life forms that in it ,its beauty ,smell ,colors,sounds ,,,,

One of the lifeforms that I'm fascinated about is mushrooms ,how they grow ,the way they pop up in between the trees the stones the green moos ,love there

Colors and looks , i kind of miss them - its summertime is Isreal ,

And no climate for mushroom now ,

So i started crocheting them , and what more useful then knit them on a stone so they can be used as a paperweight or doorstop ,

I play with it some with tow and some with three heads ,

Take a look and tell me what you think , 

I love when i put them all together .

This project is fun and useful ,red doted mushrooms popping out of a natural stone ,in my loved crochet ,

I kind of needed it for our new home  ,doorstop ,couldn't find anything that i liked .

The kids love it especially Rio .my 7year girl,

,she said that "it bring in the forest" ,who needs more then that .

Neon crochet pendent

Happy Independence Day ,Israel is celebrating her 65 birthday .
I wish us all peace love and joy for the years to come .
There is no place I rather be but here :)

This is a project was on my to do list ,my new home at the south of Israel is not yet done ,in his interior .I'm doing my best in working on it ,however such things take time ,now it's the pendent time .
This orange neon crochet pendent was done for my 4.5 year boy Lori .
His room is painted with sky blue color and his bed in grey blue color .
I got a present from Reflectora studio ,by Maayan Ashkenazi ,the hot air ballon wall sticker ,so I put it on each side of the window that dressed with star cotton curtain .
So I has to add the color ,I went for the orange neon cotton yarn ,I have shopped for big scale round pendent ,and that is the result ,
This can be taken out for wash and dressed back on the frame :)

Bow crochet necklace

Wow , its December , my favorite month of the year , it holds many reasons :

1.it has the best holidays of the year , Hanukkah and Christmas . (love the street decoration , the food , the atmosphere , the sounds and spirit )recently I visited London and how pretty is she !

2.it's the last month of the year .(so lots of resolutions and planning for the new year to come .)

3.my birthday .

4.winter is most defiantly here .

All you need is :

Crochet hook size 2.5

Cotton yarn at any liked color ,

Yarn needle

Scissors

The making :

Cast on 38 eyes , +1 = 39

Then knit 7-8 raw of sc .

Close .

With the help of needle saw to a tube .and with the laft tread pinch in the middle and wrap around it .then tied it .

For the mid band :

Cast on 3 eyes .

Knit 7 raw in sc.

Close .



With needled saw it together around mid band .

Walla it's ready ,

Now just add your necklace and bead ,and you have the most unique necklace .

Crochet collar - Playing

It's not new that I love to crochet, really love!
Difficult to explain why, but it has always been, I'm always looking for interesting things to knit, unconventional things have value in my eyes.
So this is the next thing, The collar!
It is Very fashionable accessory these days, so why not have a more interesting option.
My girls really liked it , as well as my dear friend Lital Maoz (someone i hold her opinion !she is the best stylist ever).
She chose the grey with neon pink trim ;i'm so so happy :)

Felt wool with jersey crochet trim

This is  my latest development , a rug i know i must have for my new house ,
this is made from 6mm thick of 100% felt wool , which where cut in around shape and where punctured 180 holes all around for the crochet trim ,
i love the result ! it looks wonderfull in my space dont you think so ?
both are marengo grey color and each has different design to it's trim .

Pleased to share my new product development .
well it's actually old news that we build a house, one of the most beautiful and Fun things on my to do list  is the llighting.
Lighting in general is something that I love. The light allure is something past my control,
The games of light and shadow and what is between them in particular.
In this project I combined the love of knitting ,and light .as for me is a winning combination.
I decided to go for one of the most important trends now. The Color block.
And in fact I Crochet knitted a cover to the lamp and power cord leading to the socket.

Crochet vase cover + pompon flowers

I've been planning to write this post for some time now , simply had lots and lots of things to get done at all of my life aspects ,renuar my day job ,my kids, our in progress house and getting ready for the Keren Shavit collage sale this upcoming weekend.
Well this idea of pompon flower vase came up at family day when Cheyenne teacher came for a visit and brought us a present IKEA vase with plastic flowers in it . Right then I know that from this plain and yet simple I can bring it to magic and spring feel to it.

I started to work with it and the result is perfection.

For that project I used no 3 hook and yarn to match it .

This is the diagram that I have done for you to try at home .it's simple and rewarding at the end .total raws 21.

1=1

2=2

3=3+3

4=4+3

5=5+4

6=6+5

total 21 raw  

At the end you'll have to clean the tread that were left at start and end edge.

Now you can slip it on top of that IKEA vase .now to the flowers the steam is collected at the park and been reuse . Make two pompon each with her favorite colors and size .once you done use hot glue gun to attach the pompon to the piece of wood that you got before

Rio and lorei at marganit kindergarden

 Purim day today , always been our faivorate ,thye kids are planing months ahead , each with his,her own
wishfull costume . the big day start very early at morning (the most hardest part for me) first dress then make up and then photo shotting , this morning we did'nt get to the shotting part (empty battery ,had to charge it )
so i followed them to kindergarden .which were brilliant idea. all of us were happy !!!
