Collage sale - spring recap

The Collage sale –spring ended .what a production was that , incredible , simply fantastic and amazing 2 days , That fly by so fast ,
It is always stunning the way we get to prepare ourselves to certain events ,and when they finally began they pass so fast that almost can't feel them , and then the question was it good ?

I'm so into perfection ,and doing things right that I miss photographing the event .

thanks to Nirit Gur Karby that is supper talented photographer I get to have some photos , and I'm proud to say that now I have a self portrait that I will be happy to be seen in .as for me I love to be the one that takes the photos and not the other way round !

I would like to Thanks Nirit for that :)
And would like Thank Keren Shavit that made this even so magical and happy one , and still keep on doing wonders each and every time ,

What will be next …. I don’t know if Karen's know .

I wish us all happy Passover and lovely spring time , it is too short have to stop and enjoy.

Crochet vase cover + pompon flowers

I've been planning to write this post for some time now , simply had lots and lots of things to get done at all of my life aspects ,renuar my day job ,my kids, our in progress house and getting ready for the Keren Shavit collage sale this upcoming weekend.
Well this idea of pompon flower vase came up at family day when Cheyenne teacher came for a visit and brought us a present IKEA vase with plastic flowers in it . Right then I know that from this plain and yet simple I can bring it to magic and spring feel to it.

I started to work with it and the result is perfection.

For that project I used no 3 hook and yarn to match it .

This is the diagram that I have done for you to try at home .it's simple and rewarding at the end .total raws 21.

1=1

2=2

3=3+3

4=4+3

5=5+4

6=6+5

total 21 raw  

At the end you'll have to clean the tread that were left at start and end edge.

Now you can slip it on top of that IKEA vase .now to the flowers the steam is collected at the park and been reuse . Make two pompon each with her favorite colors and size .once you done use hot glue gun to attach the pompon to the piece of wood that you got before

The house's collection

Well it is common knowledge that I'm in a process of building the Gillan family dream house.


So the idea of house cushions were natural feel to it. the mix and match of fabrics plus the windows and door application and embroidery on top of it ,made each house look different and uniqe.the Keren's way of doing things !

It is with spring feel ,blessing of Health and prosper .

I wish all of us to be living in no less than our dream house. we need to make the most of life has to offer us .each day as if it was the last, please make the most of it !

Planning for  next Friday Collage sale , the best happening ever , of my dear friend, the great magician as I call her.the : Mrs Karen Shavit. The one and only !
So I decided to make something magical at New Year doorway/A special edition set only 6 pcs .
And dedicate them to Keren .always smille with high spirit Without a dull moment. the one that constantly pushing forward.
It's a kind of a surprise with great love .

I'll give you the impression of them, pictures with pudding camera - fantasy software. Filmed in my backyard. Crazy about the magical atmosphere.

Collage - Friday Sale recap

Friday at Keren Shavit was truly a huge experience for me. in a way,that was the first time I ever really sold things that I've made & it was no piece-of-cake. More like a fast mini course.
The atmosphere & vibe were really good and the fellow-artists who participated were kind and welcoming but at the end of that day I met two special women whom I intend to keep in touch with.

One is Mazi Peled with Latika ,so kind and pretty ,the kind of soul that matches mine in a many ways. Her all-natural soaps creations are full of humor,color and scents, it comes to a point that one really feels like taking a bite at it.
The second is Hadar Kaplan with "Manafka mina", A girl who makes my dreams come alive with the extremely beautiful knitted creatures She creates.

In general, the sale was a huge success & then again - A big thank you to Keren Shavit that made it all happen & was greatest host ever.

Thank you Dear for being such a good friend!

I Was happy to get that call from Keren, A dear friend and an amazingly positive woman, and a very energetic one.
Keren runs the Best sales ever, at her unique studio located in Mazkeret Batya, A magical and well organized Studio - such as the one I would die for.

I'm looking forward to Friday. hope to see some of you there.

wow , it was sep 3rd at 18-22 pm , It was a good trial; I wanted for some time now to do it so I can learn more from people About my things to see if they like them at all, I got help from a dear friend Eldad which is a king in sales his light and fun attitude can really make a difference ,(thank you for being there for me ) lots of my friend came to visit it was nice indeed , and also productive I got all the opinions that where there , it is funny that regardless the work I put into things people can be very judgmental , in a good spirit can aim to good things , so if I do or not we will see later ,,,,
